ParaCalc® aims to provide tools and models to assist the veterinarian and the farmer in the control of parasitic infections in livestock and to judge the economic impact they have on a particular farm.
Parasitic infections are widespread in livestock animals. Often these infections remain undetected because clinical symptoms are vague or absent. Yet, they can be responsible for important economic losses.
All the provided tools are based on scientific research. ParaCalc® is provided open-access and free and can be seen as a platform where researchers can translate their research results into practical tools for a larger public.
ParaCalc® is proud to support each year > 260 veterinarians and researchers to tackle parasitic infections of livestock.
